I was diagnosed with anemia with unknown cause. I had breathing difficulties, gastrointestinal issues, decreased kidney function, severe lethargy, heart pulpits, severe loss of appetite, rapid weight loss, swelling of lower extremities, and diabetes.

I have been diabetic for 18 years. All other issues started in March of 2022. I was in and out of the hospital every month. I had numerous western medical tests done, with all results showing no abnormality. I was given almost 10 different medications and went through blood transfusions that made me severely ill or had severe allergic reactions. But nothing worked to ease my symptoms.

From the first treatment in April 2023 my symptoms started to improve or subside altogether including the palpitations, acid reflux, difficulty breathing and edema.

Without acupuncture I don’t think I would be alive today! Thank you Asher for healing me so I can be here for my children and watch them grow up.

Kidney Dysfunction

In 2023 a routine blood test determined that my creatinine levels  were slightly elevated, indicating some possible kidney problems.  A follow up blood test in 2024 indicated that my creatinine levels had worsened and I was referred to a kidney specialist by my family doctor.

After being unsuccessful in getting an appointment with the Kidney specialist for several weeks,  I saw Asher Loring. After examining me,  Asher suggested some dietary changes and offered traditional Chinese herbs.  

About two weeks after seeing Asher,  I was able to get an appointment with a kidney specialist who reviewed my original blood lab tests and conducted a sonogram of my kidneys.  The sonogram indicated some circulator problems in one of my kidneys and my new doctor conducted a Urine test.  The urine test indicated unusual levels of white blood cells in my urine indicating possible infections.

A week later my new blood test indicated that while my creatinine levels had improved they were still slightly abnormal.  The follow up urine test came back clear. 

A month later, my follow up blood test indicated that my kidney functions had stabilized. My kidney doctor said that my condition did not warrant any intervention on his part at this time.

Needless to say I am continuing to follow Asher’s dietary instructions and continuing to take the Chinese Herbal Medicine

Plantar Fasciitis

For months I dealt with chronic foot pain. While not debilitating, it was definitely taking away from my quality of life. I had similar symptoms lasting over a year in the past and followed a different path of treatment and felt there w as a better way. Compensating for my foot pain threw other areas of my body out of alignment and compounded the situation.

I decided to give acupuncture a shot. This was my first experience. I am not a touchy-feely person and have never even been to a chiropractor or had a professional massage, so it was a bit of a leap of faith.

Asher immediately put me at ease, asked great questions and listened. In a short time I felt he knew my body better than I did! The depth of his training and commitment to his art is amazing. He made sure I was comfortable and aware of what he was doing. At each session he would assess my bodyʻs current needs apart from the foot pain and tailor the treatment for that session. His treatment rooms are comfortable, serene and very relaxing.

After several sessions and following some of his directions on home care, my foot pain was close to being gone! The reduction in foot pain allowed my whole body to heal and start feeling better. Acupuncture has been a game-changer for my foot pain.
